Saudi, Iranian Foreign Ministers Discuss Boosting Bilateral Relations

Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah discussed with his Iranian counterpart, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, ways to enhance bilateral relations in many fields.

This came during a meeting they held Friday on the margins of the ministerial meeting of the BRICS Friends in Cape Town, South Africa.

During the meeting, they discussed steps to implement the agreement between the two countries signed in Beijing, including intensifying joint work to ensure international peace and security. The two sides voiced looking forward to intensify consultative meetings to achieve more positive prospects for bilateral and multilateral relations, in a way that serves the interests of the two countries.
