The general index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) dropped 1.39 points, or 0.01%, at the beginning of Wednesday's trading, to reach the level of 10,672.27 points, compared to yesterday's closing.
The performance of QSE general index was weighed down by a decline in Consumer Goods and Services by 0.18%; Banks and Financial Services by 0.10%; and Real Estate by 0.07%. On the other hand, the general index recorded a rise in Insurance by 0.58%; Industrials by 0.27%; Telecoms by 0.06%; and Transportation by 0.02%.
At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 1,916 transactions worth QR 39,104,116.259, distributed to 18,870,620 shares. (QNA)
