Mass rally in Sana’a commemorating “Ashura”

The capital Sana'a witnessed this afternoon a large mass march to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Hussein "Ashura" and condemn the insult of the Holy Quran.

The crowds affirmed that commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Hussein is an embodiment of loyalty and attachment to the Master of Martyrs, his stances and courage in fighting injustice and tyrants and supporting the truth and the oppressed.

The participants renewed their allegiance and covenant to the leaders of guidance including Imam Hussein, and proceeded with their approach in confronting the tyrants of the age from the forces of global arrogance led by America and the Zionist lobby.

They affirmed adherence to the great values and principles for which Imam Hussein bin Ali sacrificed, rejected humiliation and servility, and inspired the meanings of sacrifice and redemption in confronting the enemies of the nation and supporting the Holy Qur’an and Islamic sanctities.

The participants in the march pointed to the greatness of the Ashura commemoration and the movement and sacrifices of Imam Hussein, and its extension and impact on the reality of the nation across generations to correct its path and its victory over the enemies of Islam.

The statement strongly condemned the repeated abuses of the Holy Quran by the countries of Sweden and Denmark, who are doing so in response to the directives of the Zionist-Jewish lobby.

They called on the rulers and peoples of the Arab and Islamic world to take firm and serious stances towards this by severing diplomatic relations and economic boycott of their products.
