Kuwaiti envoy lauds Jordan’s cooperation in evacuation process
Amman, Kuwaiti Ambassador to Jordan Aziz Daihani lauded the Jordanian government’s facilitation of the return of Kuwaiti students to their country following the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
During a ceremony held by the Kuwaiti embassy on Sunday, Daihani stated that Jordan’s facilitation of procedures reflects commitment to boosting the strong relations and cooperation between the two countries.
The ceremony aimed at honoring diplomats and embassy staff and the technical offices operating under it for the efforts they exerted during the COVID-19 pandemic and their active contribution to the success of the evacuation plan for Kuwaiti citizens.
Kuwait evacuated nearly 30,000 citizens from various countries around the world, including 3,000 Kuwaitis residing in the Kingdom, he added.
