The Board of Directors of the Unit for Financing Agricultural and Fish Projects and Initiatives in Al Dhale’ province discussed, in its meeting today, Tuesday, headed by Acting Governor Abdul Latif Al Shagdari, unit’s performance in financing agricultural projects level during the year 1445 AH.
The meeting, which included the province’s deputy for agricultural affairs, Aziz Al-Haidari, and the directors of the finance offices, Adnan Al-Jabri, agriculture, Musaad Maarab, planning, Dirham Sinan, initiatives, Hamid Al-Qahif, and fisheries, Bakil Al-Shami, discussed the development plan for the unit’s projects 1445-1446 AH.
The report included the projects implemented and under implementation and what was included in the plan for the year 1446 AH.
At the meeting, Al-Shaghdari stressed the need for coordination between the authorities concerned with the agricultural sector and the Project Finance Unit in order to achieve agricultural development, pointing out the importance of transferring agricultural experim
ents for wheat varieties , cash crops and expanding the establishment of nurseries and rainwater harvesting caravans.
He urged to work in a team spirit to overcome the difficulties and address the problems that accompanied performance during the past period… stressing the keenness to support initiatives and effective associations in a way that contributes to the reclamation of inhospitable lands in implementation of the directives of the Revolution Leader to advance the agricultural sector and support the capabilities of farmers in achieving a qualitative leap in the agricultural field.
