UK reports 38598 new daily COVID-19 infections, 671 fatalities

A total of 38598 COVID-19 cases were recorded in the UK Sunday, pushing the caseload to more than 3.3 million, according to the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC).

COVID-19 killed 671 people within the last 24 hours, as the death toll in the kingdom stands at 89261, the DHSC added.
