Trade Minister, UAE economy minister discuss ties

Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply, Tarek Hammouri, on Tuesday discussed with United Arab Emirates’ Minister of Economy, Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori, means of enhancing bilateral cooperation in economic and business fields.

During the meeting, the two ministers stressed the importance of joint action to increase the volume of intraregional trade and motivate the private sector to launch joint ventures that serve the two countries interests.

They underlined the strength and depth of relations between Jordan and the UAE as a role model for other countries.

Hammouri lauded the UAE’s financial support for the Kingdom to overcome economic hardships resulting from hosting a large number of Syrian refugees, as well as the ramifications of regional conflicts.

The two sides reviewed ways and means to increase the volume of bilateral trade, exchange expertise and attract UAE businessmen to invest in the Kingdom.
