Top official checks on Jerash incident victims
Amman, Minister of State for Prime Ministry Affairs, Sami Daoud, Wednesday evening visited those injured in a stabbing attack that targeted a number of tourists and Jordanians in the northern governorate of Jerash, who are receiving medical treatment at the King Hussein Medical City in Amman.
Dawood, accompanied by the Mexican consul in Amman, checked on the health of the injured, instructing those concerned to provide them with utmost care.
He expressed his sorrow over the incident, stressing that the government and the concerned bodies will hold the perpetrator accountable, in accordance with rule of law.
The minister underscored that Jordan will always remain a safe country, and that today’s misfortunate incident will not deter Jordan from performing its duties toward its citizens and guests.
