Morocco, Algeria report 25, seven COVID-19 deaths respectively
Twenty-five people died from COVIDID-19 in Morocco Sunday, bringing the death toll in the North Africa country to 1,578, according to the Maghreb Arabe Presse (MAP).
The MAP cited the Ministry of Health as saying that 2,251 cases were recorded today as the caseload tops 86,686.
In neighboring Algeria, health officials said that COVID-19 killed seven today as the death toll surpasses 1,612, according to the Algeria Press Services. 247 infections were recorded.
