Mexican envoy checks on Jerash incident victims
Amman, Mexican Ambassador to Jordan, Roberto Rodriguez, on Thursday visited the victims of a stabbing that occurred in Jerash yesterday.
Among the injured were three Mexican tourists, he stated, adding that they are in stable condition.
Rodriguez lauded the level of medical care provided to the injured who were transferred to the King Hussein Medical Center, and hailed the care Jordan provided to Mexican citizens in the Kingdom.
During his visit, the envoy said this care reflects the strength of relations between the two friendly countries.
He underlined that this an individual incident that “will in no way affect the level of distinguished relations between the two countries, which have deep-rooted ties.”
