Jordanian-Estonian business forum opens

Amman, A Jordanian-Estonian business forum kicked off on Sunday with the aim of expanding economic ties and cooperation between Jordan and the European nation.

Speaking at the opening of the gathering, President of the Jordan Chamber of Commerce Senator Nael Kabariti called for advancing Jordanian-Estonian ties and exploring potential areas of economic cooperation.

He noted that Jordan exports to Estonia skin care and Dead Sea products and imports wood and electrical appliances, especially telephones, fax machines and network hardware.

Kabariti said Jordan is keen to benefit from Estonia’s expertise in the fields of energy, renewable energy, telecommunications, information technology and electronic commerce.

The Estonian assistant minister for foreign affairs and head of the economic delegation taking part in the forum said his country is looking forward to building strong economic ties and bridges of cooperation with Jordan and boosting their trade.
