Jordan welcomes new Libyan executive authority
Jordan welcomed the forming of a new Libyan Executive Authority that was chosen by the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum, which was held on Friday in Geneva under the auspices of the UN.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Spokesperson Ambassador Defaillah al-Fayez wished the new authority success in managing the transitional phase until holding the upcoming elections at the end of the current year, and handing over power to the elected government.
Al-Fayez praised efforts carried out by the UN, regional and international parties to end the Libyan crisis and restore security and stability in the North-African country.
