Jordan, Indonesia discuss economic cooperation

Amman-Jordan’s Chamber of Industry (JCI) and its Indonesian counterpart discussed ways to foster bilateral economic cooperation and to overcome impediments obstructing growth of trade exchange volume at the private sectors’ level.

During an economic delegation’s trip to Jakarta, the visit aims to bolster trade cooperation and to showcase the industrial sector’s investment opportunities, along with exchanging expertise between the two countries, said a JCI statement of First Vice-President, Mohammed Al-Rifai, on Wednesday.

Talks also sought to increase the ” modest ” trade exchange and to ditch diverse impediments obstructing its growth, he pointed out.

The delegation, moreover, mulled the launch of a Jordanian products fair in the Asian country to benefit from available opportunities, he underlined.
