Israeli officer injured during demolition of Palestinian home in Jenin

Ramallah, A female Israeli Border Police officer was injured early Tuesday, in clashes after Israeli military bulldozers entered the West Bank city of Jenin to demolish a Palestinian detainee home.

Spokesperson of the Israeli occupation army said in a statement that Palestinians, who resisted the demolition, opened fire at the soldiers, wounding one female Border Police officer .

Meanwhile, clashes erupted between the occupation troops and the Palestinians, which resulted in many injuries among the Palestinians , the spokesperson added.

The occupation authorities accused the Palestinian detainee, Ahmad Kunba, of participating in the operation that took place in Havat Gilad illegal settlement West of Nablus and resulted in the killing of Rabbi Raziel Shevach on January 9th.
