HRH the Crown Prince Meets U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham

Riyadh, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met with the U.S. Senator, Lindsey Graham, in Riyadh today.

During the meeting, they reviewed the bilateral friendly relations and various issues of common interest.

The meeting also addressed the current military escalation in Gaza.

In this regard, HRH the Crown Prince emphasized the necessity of making every possible effort to de-escalate the situation and ensure that the violence does not spread, thereby preventing its serious implications for regional and global security and peace.

HRH the Crown Prince stressed the significance of creating an environment conducive to restoring stability and reinitiating the peace process, thus guaranteeing the Palestinian people obtain their legitimate rights.

Attending the meeting from the Saudi side were Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Minister of Defense; Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Saudi Ambassador to the U.S.; Minister of State, Member of the Cabinet and National Security Adviser Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban; and Minister of State and Cabinet Member Mohammad bin Abdulmalik Al Al-Sheik.

On the American side, the attendees were: Senator Ben Cardin, a Democrat from Maryland and a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee; Senator Jack Reed, a Democrat from Rhode Island and a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee; Senator Susan Collins, a Republican from Maine and a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee; Senator John Thune, a Republican from South Dakota and a member of the Senate Finance Committee; Senator Chris Coons, a Democrat from Delaware and a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee; Senator Richard Blumenthal, a Democrat from Connecticut and a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee; Senator Cory Booker, a Democrat from New Jersey and a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee; Senator Dan Sullivan, a Republican from Alaska and a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee; Senator Katie Britt, a Republican from Alabama and a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee; and the U.S. Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Michael Ratney.
