Global Forum for Moderation to be held in Amman

Amman, The 15th Global Forum for Moderation entitled “social security and its impact on the nation’s unity” will kick off in Amman on Wednesday with the participation of scholars, intellectuals, and specialists from across the world.

The conference, which is organized in cooperation with Muslim World League in Saudi Arabia, gains special important as it is held in difficult political, social, and economic conditions that left a huge impact on stability and development programs in the Arab and Islamic worlds.

Secretary General of the forum, Marwan al-Faouri, told Petra that the conference aims at highlighting the importance of social security for societies and its role in pushing the development process forward and ensuring stability.

The event will be attended by intellectuals and academics from Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Ukraine, Palestine, Sudan, Pakistan, Syria, Iraq, Kurdistan, Yemen, Morocco, Malaysia, Algeria, Kuwait, Lebanon, Egypt, Turkey, Mauritania, France, Sweden, Thailand, Bosnia, India, Indonesia, Nigeria, and Jordan.
