Extremist settlers storm Muslims’ shrines in Nablus
Ramallah, Dozens of extremist settlers early Sunday stormed Muslim shrines located in Awarta village in the West Bank city of Nablus, a Palestinian source confirmed.
The Awarta’s municipality council said in a statement that the settlers broke into the village under heavy protection of Israeli occupation army and headed towards the village’s shrines claiming they wanted to perform their Talmudic rites.
During the storming, the extremists destroyed Palestinians’ properties, screamed and shouted, spreading fear and panic among citizens, the council added.
