Army sends medical aid to neighboring Iraq
The Jordanian Arab Army sent Wednesday a convoy of medical aid to Iraq to support the country’s effort exerted in countering the spread of the novel coronavirus.
The convoy, which came under His Majesty King Abdullah II’s directives, is carrying crucial medical equipment and supplies, primarily masks, gloves, sanitizers and medical gowns that were made in the Kingdom.
Iraqi Ambassador to the Kingdom Haidar Athari praised Jordan for sending the convoy, which bears witness Jordan-Iraq’s deep-rooted ties.
