Amman to host ‘cultural heritage in Jerusalem’ symposium Tuesday
Amman, Amman will host on Tuesday the “Cultural Heritage in Jerusalem: Reality and Challenges,” under the patronage of the Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Abdul Nasser Abu Al-Basal.
The two-day symposium is expected to discuss the pillars of the cultural heritage in the occupied city of Jerusalem and means to protect it, in addition to the Islamic and Christian “waqf” in the city and their role in preserving the Jerusalemite heritage; and the legal and moral obligations of the international organizations, and the role of the regional institutions and the private sector.
The symposium will see the participation of politicians, parliamentarians and religious leaders from Jordan and abroad.
