Riyadh, The 8th Saudi Optometry Conference starts here tomorrow to explore the latest developments in the field of clinical optics.
The event, which lasts until October 28, will feature more than 60 speakers from all over the world and more than 80 scientific papers.
The annual conference usually brings together local and international specialists to share ideas and experiences and discuss topics pertaining to the field of optics; workshops are also conducted during the conference.
The topics to be discussed at the conference include diagnosis and treatment of corneal diseases and refractive defects correction, the latest developments in low vision rehabilitation, diagnosis and treatment of vision problems in children, and combating visual impairment.
An exhibition, the largest of its kind, will take place on the sidelines of the event, featuring the latest technologies in the field of optics and vision sciences; several agencies and companies specializing in optics will take part in it.
