Senate President, Faisal Fayez, lauded Audit Bureau's role in integrating the "best" auditing practices, which are consistent with international standards, in a bid to preserve public funds and rectify imbalances in government institutions under its oversight. During his meeting Thursday, with the bureau's head, Radi Hamadin, Fayez stressed importance of joint cooperation, noting need to provide financial and technical support to this oversight body and harness its "qualified" expertise to continue its role with "high professionalism and efficiency" Meanwhile, Hamadin affirmed the bureau's keenness to inform Senate on various violations monitored in all institutions under its jurisdiction. Voicing appreciation to Senate for its "continuous" support to the bureau and all its employees, Hamadin expressed its keenness on continued cooperation with the Upper Chamber and its various committees to serve national interest.
