Petra: Petra Youth Center has concluded the "Green Volunteering" program, implemented by the Ministry of Youth in partnership with UNICEF, with the participation of 25 girls aged 15 to 17. According to Jordan News Agency, the program aimed to enhance environmental awareness and develop participants' personal skills and sense of responsibility through interactive training sessions. The program addressed key topics including climate concepts, weather patterns, and the causes and impacts of climate change on individuals, communities, and ecosystems. Participants also carried out practical activities, including water conservation awareness campaigns and a schoolyard clean-up initiative, as part of efforts to promote community engagement. The initiative forms part of the Ministry of Youth's broader efforts to strengthen youth participation in environmental issues and build their capacity to address climate-related challenges.
