New york: Major U.S. stock indexes rose on Wednesday after two consecutive days of declines. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 341 points to reach 49,490, while the tech-heavy Nasdaq index climbed 397 points to 24,657. The SandP 500 index also advanced by about 74 points to 7,137.
According to Jordan News Agency, U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude held steady at $92.55 per barrel.
