Amman: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi held talks with UN Secretary-General António Guterres, focusing on efforts to address the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip due to Israel’s actions and the prevention of aid delivery into the area. According to Jordan News Agency, during the discussions, Safadi and Guterres emphasized the importance of collaboration between Jordan and UN organizations to facilitate the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza. They also highlighted the critical role of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), describing it as “indispensable and irreplaceable” in the ongoing efforts to support those affected in the region.
