Accra:The Independent Election Commission announced that it will begin accepting applications for candidates seeking positions on the boards of commerce chambers and as sector representatives starting Tuesday.
According to Jordan News Agency, the IEC has urged interested individuals to submit their applications at the headquarters of the commerce chambers between Tuesday and 200 PM on Thursday. Application forms are available on the commission's website.
The IEC Board of Commissioners has scheduled December 5 for the election to select new boards of directors for the commerce chambers and sector representatives. If a forum for the General Assembly of commerce chambers is not present, the election will be postponed to December 12 for those in attendance.
