Amman: The Women’s Empowerment Unit at the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply conducted a specialized two-day training program titled “Sale Skills in Global Markets,” focusing on enhancing the global sales capabilities of Jordanian enterprises.
According to Jordan News Agency, the program saw the participation of 21 Jordanian companies, with 19 being owned or managed by women. This initiative is part of the Export Promotion and Market Access Team’s efforts to provide technical support, enabling women-owned businesses to tap into various economic opportunities.
The ministry emphasized the importance of this training model for increasing the capabilities of Jordanian companies and expanding their reach into regional and international markets. This, in turn, is expected to boost the competitiveness of the Jordanian economy.
The program’s goals include empowering Jordanian companies, especially women-owned enterprises, to enhance their competitive edge and readiness to engage with global markets. It aims to achieve this by improving practical sales skills, preparing participants for global trade fairs, and focusing on export negotiation and effective follow-up after business meetings.
