The Israeli occupation forces broke into Qubbat Al-Sakhrah Mosque (the Dome of the Rock) on Thursday, in conjunction with hundreds of settlers storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque complex.
The Islamic Endowments Department in Jerusalem stated that large forces of the Israeli occupation police stormed Qubbat Al-Sakhrah Mosque in a provocative manner, placed its members at its entrances, and seized its keys after assaulting and beating the mosque’s guards.
Earlier this morning, extremist Israeli national security minister Itamar Ben-Gvir led settlers in this storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque compounds, under tight protection of the occupation police.
Since the early hours, thousands of settlers stormed Al-Buraq Square, and carried out provocative tours in the alleys of Old Jerusalem, while hundreds of them gathered in front of the Mughrabi Gate before storming Al-Aqsa, in response to the settlement associations’ call to carry out mass incursions into Al-Aqsa to mark the so-called “destruction of the Temple”.
