Minister of Interior congratulates Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques on Eid Al-Adha occasion and success of this year’s Hajj season

The Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, conveyed congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha and the successful completion of the Hajj season of 1444 AH.

In his cable, the Minister attributed the success of this year's Hajj season to the direct supervision and wise guidance of the Saudi leadership. The implementation of this year's Hajj plan was marked by cooperation and integration among the various parties responsible for overseeing the Hajj mission. These parties effectively executed all plans, including those related to security, prevention, organization, health, services, and traffic management. Their efforts were tailored to accommodate the significant number of pilgrims, totalling 1,845,045, ensuring the provision of top-quality services that enabled pilgrims to perform their rituals with ease and peace of mind.

Led by dedicated security personnel and supported by their counterparts from other government and private agencies, the participants executed their tasks with exceptional professionalism. Their commitment and expertise contributed to the realization of all the plans under the wise guidance and directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. Notably, this year's Hajj season proceeded without any issues that could have disrupted or compromised the security and safety of the pilgrims. Furthermore, there were no reported cases of epidemics or the need for quarantine measures.
