Amman: Public Security Directorate (PSD) Chief Maj. Gen. Obeidallah Maaytah has directed the Director of the Correction and Rehabilitation Centers Department to facilitate the screening of the Jordan national team's World Cup matches for inmates inside correctional and rehabilitation facilities.
According to Jordan News Agency, the PSD's statement highlighted that this decision will allow inmates not only to follow the national sporting event but also to enjoy other tournament matches. The initiative is part of the PSD's broader reform and rehabilitation policy, which focuses on fostering inmates' integration into society and enabling them to participate in national occasions, similar to other segments of Jordanian society.
