Fisheries Ministry condemned crime of burning copies of Holy Qur'an by extremists in Sweden.
It also considered this disgraceful act a racist and dangerous act against human rights and freedom of worship, and it hurts the feelings of Muslims all over the world, fuels hatred and harms calling for coexistence and human and global peace.
The Ministry denounced this racist act, stressing that the Islamic religion urges peace, tolerance and mutual respect between different religions and cultures.
The ministry held the authorities in Sweden responsible for not taking the necessary measures to arrest those who committed this crime and bring them to justice.
It called on Islamic countries to boycott Sweden and its goods as an aggressor country that does not respect international laws and treaties, does not believe in respecting religious beliefs, supports extremism and terrorism.
The ministry called on the international community to take effective measures to prevent the recurrence of these racist acts in order to maintain peace and stability in multicultural societies.
It stressed the need to hold extremists accountable and enact measures to prevent the recurrence of such acts in the future.
