Eastern Region Border Crossings, Airport Ready to Monitor Health of Arriving Pilgrims

Dammam, The Eastern Health Cluster (EHC) health monitoring centers at five border crossings and an airport are prepared to receive pilgrims this Hajj season, according to EHC. It said that health centers are equipped to receive pilgrims and assist patients with chronic diseases, and work to raise awareness about the precautionary measures that need to be taken while performing Hajj rituals, as well as to provide general advice and guidance before pilgrims visit the holy sites. EHC has dedicated monitoring centers at the Salwa Port, on the border with Qatar, the King Fahd Causeway Port, on the border with Bahrain, the Khafji Port, on the border with Kuwait, Al-Batha Port, on the border with UAE, the Empty Quarter Port, on the border with Oman, and at King Fahd International Airport (KFIA) in Dammam.
