Amman: The honor was bestowed upon Jitan during the opening ceremony of the 51st session of the Arab Labour Conference, held in Cairo, with a delegation from JCI, headed by Jitan, participating in the event.
According to Jordan News Agency, the acknowledgment came as a recognition of Jitan’s contributions and role in advancing labor market development and supporting cooperative efforts among governments, employers, and trade unions. These efforts aim to develop labor-related policies in the Arab region and improve the work environment.
Jitan emphasized his active role in enhancing Jordan’s position in Arab and international labor forums. Addressing the honoring ceremony, he stressed the importance of continued cooperation among all stakeholders to improve labor policies in the Arab region. He also highlighted the necessity of adopting flexible strategies that can keep pace with the region’s rapid economic and social changes.
Furthermore, Jitan stated that the ALO is one of the key organizations contributing to strengthening social dialogue and cooperation among production stakeholders. He also underscored the importance of directing joint efforts towards enhancing employment opportunities and achieving a balance in worker-employer rights across Arab countries.
Holding multiple positions in the Jordanian industrial sector, Jitan plays a major role in supporting national industrial issues and improving the Kingdom’s business environment.
