Advisor to Grand Mufti of Kosovo: King Abdulaziz Holy Quran Competition Motivated Young People in Kosovo to Memorize the Holy Quran

Advisor to the Grand Mufti of Kosovo, Bassem Mohamadi, said Saudi Arabia has always motivated young Muslims around the world to embark on memorizing, reciting, and understanding the meanings and rulings of the Holy Quran, adding that this effort is highly appreciated by all Muslims across the world.

He made his remarks in press statements on the sidelines of the King Abdulaziz International Competition for the Memorization, Recitation, and Interpretation of the Holy Quran, which kicked off in its 43rd edition in Makkah, with the participation of 166 contestants from 117 countries.

Advisor Mohamadi expressed his sincere thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH the Crown Prince, for their generous sponsorship of the King Abdulaziz International Competition and the care and close follow-up by the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh, for all programs the ministry has been implementing, namely the electronic judging in the competition and the use of artificial intelligence in its operations.
