Additional cement to support community Initiatives in Mahweet launched

The Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit at the Ministry of Finance has launched the distribution of an additional quantity of cement for Mahweet province as part of a program aimed at supporting community initiatives. The distribution includes a total of 15,000 cement bags. During the meeting, the Public Mobilization Officer in Mahweet commended the role of the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit in supporting community initiatives across the province's districts. He emphasized that the extra quantity received will be allocated to various projects in all service and developmental sectors. Meanwhile, Engineer Mukhtar al-Turki, the Head of the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit in the province, affirmed that the additional cement support is directed towards diverse community initiatives spanning different service and developmental fields. He underscored that supporting community initiatives is a top priority for the Central Interventions Unit, aiming to promote deve lopmental and service work at the district and underserved area levels, and to expand the scope of community initiatives. In response, Ali al-Shahadhi, the Director of Community Initiatives in the province, clarified the state's commitment to supporting community initiatives and its contribution to fostering societal engagement across various fields. He highlighted the importance of these initiatives in serving the public interest and responding to the call for societal development, emphasizing their role in alleviating community suffering and serving the public good. He urged the people of Mahweet to persist in implementing initiative projects that serve the community's needs, particularly in light of the current challenges facing the country.
