HORECA Jordan Launches 11th Edition with Major Global Hospitality Brands

Amman:The 11th edition of HORECA Jordan was inaugurated by Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Emad Hijazeen at the Jordan International Exhibition Center located in Mecca Mall. This international trade show features over 180 local and global brands in the fields of hospitality, hotel equipment, and culinary technology.

According to Jordan News Agency, Minister Hijazeen highlighted HORECA's role as a "central hub" that connects hospitality suppliers with industry decision-makers and investors. He emphasized the event's contribution to sector growth, the fostering of business partnerships, and the enhancement of service quality within Jordan's tourism industry.

This year, the event includes a range of culinary and service competitions aimed at benchmarking regional talent against international standards, with over 250 industry professionals participating. Among them are more than 190 chefs competing in 25 culinary categories, judged by esteemed local and international panels.

In addition to culinary contests, the exhibition hosts barista and latte art competitions, daily technical workshops, and the Art of Service Competition. These activities provide culinary students and young professionals with practical exposure to industry leaders.

HORECA Jordan receives support from the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, along with the Jordan Tourism Board, the Jordan Hotel Association, and the Jordan Restaurant Association. International culinary events are organized in collaboration with the Jordanian Chefs Association and Worldchefs.

Following last year's attendance of nearly 17,000 trade professionals, the three-day exhibition continues to bolster Jordan's standing as a regional leader in the hospitality sector.
