Israeli Air Strikes Claim Six Lives in Southern Lebanon

Beirut: Six people were killed on Monday in Israeli air strikes on several towns in southern Lebanon, according to a Lebanese security source. The attacks resulted in casualties across different locations, escalating tensions in the region.

According to Jordan News Agency, two individuals lost their lives when a drone targeted their vehicle in the southern town of Buriqa. In another attack, a young Syrian man was killed near a hospital in the town of Toul in Nabatieh al-Fawqa. Overnight air raids in the town of Kafr Sir resulted in the deaths of three people.

Israeli drones were also reported to have flown over Beirut's southern suburbs, causing increased displacement and traffic congestion as the Israeli army ordered evacuations before targeting the suburb. The security source detailed that military aircraft and drones executed 21 raids in the Nabatieh district. Additionally, artillery shelling and an explosion were reported in the town of Dibbin.
