Beirut: Israeli warplanes carried out a series of airstrikes Monday evening targeting residential areas in Beirut's southern suburbs and towns in southern Lebanon. A Lebanese security source reported that five strikes were conducted in total.
According to Jordan News Agency, three of the strikes hit the Sayyid Al Shuhada complex in Roueiss, the Burj Al Barajneh neighborhood, and the Bir Al Abed neighborhood in Beirut's southern suburbs. The other two strikes targeted the towns of Beit Leef and Bayada in southern Lebanon.
