Karak:Amman The Chinese Embassy in Amman has lowered its national flag to half-mast in a gesture of mourning for the victims of the recent terrorist attack in Karak and to show solidarity with the leadership and people of Jordan.
According to Jordan News Agency, the embassy issued an official statement expressing its full support for Jordan's leadership and citizens during this time of national mourning following the tragic incident in Karak.
The embassy had earlier condemned the attack, which targeted a church in the village of Hmoud, Karak Governorate. The assault, which took place on Friday, resulted in nine deaths and injured 34 others, prompting Beijing to reaffirm its steadfast support for the Kingdom of Jordan.
