Two Girls Killed, 40 Wounded in Israeli Air Strikes on Southern Lebanon

Beirut: Two girls were killed and 40 other people wounded, including one child, three women, and three paramedics, in two air strikes carried out by Israeli warplanes on the town of Habouch in the Nabatieh district and the city of Tyre in southern Lebanon, Lebanon's Health Ministry announced.

According to Jordan News Agency, the ministry's daily report on Saturday indicated that the total number of martyrs since March 2 until April 4 had risen to 1,422, while the number of wounded had increased to 4,294.

A Lebanese security source reported that Israeli warplanes conducted heavy air strikes on the western Bekaa Valley and southern Lebanon in the afternoon.
