Amman Public Prosecutor decided to arrest 3 people in connection with the four-story residential building collapse in the capital’s downtown Luweibdeh area.
In a statement to “Petra,” on Wednesday, Attorney General Hassan Abdallat said Public Prosecutor said the defendants were charged mutiple times with offenses related to causing death and harm in the incident.
Public Prosecutor is scheduled to hear families of the dead and injured, and will launch a technical committee to identify cause behind the deadly collapse and accurately spot people to hold accountable, adding that investigations are still ongoing.
