Amman: Minister of Social Development, Wafaa Bani Mustafa, participated on Wednesday in the Ramadan iftar hosted by “Tkiyet Um Ali” for poor and needy families. Bani Mustafa emphasized that the iftar events organized during Ramadan embody the social values of solidarity and compassion, bringing together members of the Jordanian community.
According to Jordan News Agency, the Minister highlighted that these family-oriented iftar gatherings alleviate burdens on needy families by providing them with meals. She also underscored the significant humanitarian efforts made by “Tkiyet Um Ali” for the Palestinian people, aligning with the Kingdom’s efforts to address challenges faced by the people in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
Bani Mustafa noted the continued success of the charity’s programs and the increasing public support through donations, reflecting the trust the Jordanian community places in its efforts. She participated in serving and distributing meals to beneficiaries alongside volunteers from “Tkiyet Um Ali,” aligning with the Ministry’s role in collaborating with volunteer associations during Ramadan.
“Tkiyet Um Ali” has been organizing Iftar meals for needy families throughout Ramadan for years, offering complete meals and distributing food parcels to deserving families across the Kingdom during the holy month and throughout the year.
