Amman: The Jordan Valley Authority (JVA) announced Wednesday a state of emergency to manage the weather system and the expected formation of floods in valley streams, as well as rising water levels in water gathering areas. JVA confirmed in a statement that the necessary measures have been taken, including activating the emergency plan across all departments in the northern, central, and southern Jordan Valley regions, as well as the control department and all its related sites.
