The Department of Surveying and Geographic Information Systems at the Saudi Irrigation Organization (SIO) is participating in the first Geospatial Week 2023 (GSW-2023) international conference, which is being held in Egypt from September 2 to 7.
The conference, which has "Remote Sensing for a Better Future" as topic, is organized by the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS), in association with the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport.
SIO specialists present at the conference talked about the organization's pioneering experience in digital transformation projects using geospatial information systems.
Participants of worldwide organizations attend the conference to tackle various geospatial information-related issues, including remote sensing, space science, data science, image processing, surveying and its applications in diverse fields.
