Jordanian Field Hospital in Gaza Begins Receiving Patients

Gaza: Medical teams at the Jordanian Field Hospital South Gaza/10 on Sunday began receiving patients and visitors, providing medical and therapeutic services to help ease the suffering of people in Gaza and support them amid the humanitarian and medical conditions facing the Strip.

According to Jordan News Agency, the hospital force commander stated that administrative and medical teams completed all logistical and technical preparations immediately upon arrival to ensure full readiness, support Palestinians in Gaza, and sustain the hospital's humanitarian mission efficiently and professionally, in implementation of the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II.

The hospital director mentioned that medical, nursing, and technical staff have begun implementing treatment and diagnostic protocols with high precision, receiving hundreds of patients and managing clinical and critical cases around the clock. He indicated that the hospital is placing its scientific expertise and medical capacity at the service of every patient to alleviate humanitarian suffering through a comprehensive and integrated treatment system that meets growing needs under current conditions.

The hospital is equipped with specialized clinics for general medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, intensive care, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, pediatric and neonatal surgery, plastic and burn surgery, and maxillofacial surgery. It also features a mobile prosthetics support unit for amputees, as well as radiology, laboratory, pharmacy, and sterilization departments operating in accordance with the highest medical standards.
