Queen Rania Hosts Iftar for Women in Aqaba

Aqaba: Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah hosted an Iftar banquet in Aqaba, bringing together women from across the governorate who have distinguished themselves in a variety of fields. After breaking the fast, Queen Rania wished the guests a blessed Ramadan and thanked them for their invaluable contributions to their communities, expressing her pride in their accomplishments.

According to Jordan News Agency, Queen Rania highlighted the important role women play in the workforce and the labor market, as well as their pivotal role within the family. She commended Jordanian mothers for being the “beating hearts” of their homes and extended her best wishes to the women of Jordan on the upcoming occasion of International Women’s Day.

The Iftar was held at the Prince Rashid Club and was attended by Aqaba Governor Khaled Hajjaj, General Manager of Aqaba Company for Ports Operation and Management (ACPOM) Mahmoud Khleifat, and the club’s director Muhannad Al Naser.
