Qatar Stock Exchange index lost 40.25 points, or 0.39%, at the beginning of Monday's trading, to decline to 10,230 points, weighed dawn by four sectors.
The decline was recorded in the bank and financial services sector by 1.00%, the goods and consumer services sector by 0.76%, the industrial sector by 0.14%, and the real estate sector by 0.13 %. On the other hand, the index recorded an increase in the insurance sector by 1.12%, the telecommunications sector by 0.83% and the transport sector by 0.21%.
At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 2,200 transactions worth QR 51.812 million, distributed to 20.796 million shares.
