An official source has rejected the allegations and false information cited in a report by an organization regarding alleged assaults on groups of Ethiopian citizens while crossing the Saudi-Yemeni borders, stressing that these allegations are unfounded and are based on unreliable sources.
??The official source denounced the fabrication of false allegations by some organizations about the Kingdom and the publication and dissemination of politicized and misleading reports in the context of malicious media campaigns that are launched repeatedly for suspicious objectives.
??The source stressed that the Kingdom had provided all necessary medical care to groups with individuals who had sustained firearm injuries in attacks by armed groups that tried to force them to enter the Kingdom across the Saudi-Yemen borders.
??The official source reiterated the commitment of law enforcement agencies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to human rights principles stipulated in the local regulations, international human rights law, and international humanitarian law, in addition to providing humanitarian services to those who are apprehended due to violating border security, adding that these violators are treated per the Kingdom’s regulations, which are consistent with international human rights standards.
