Amman, May 28, 2024 -- The Saudi Center for Community Service at the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) celebrated the International Day of Families at the Zaatari Syrian refugee camp in Jordan. The International Day of Families is observed annually on May 15. As part of the event, the center organized an awareness lecture that highlighted the significance of family cohesion, underlining the crucial role of the family as the fundamental building block of society. The lecture underscored the significance of family in preparing a cultured generation that recognizes its responsibility in upholding human values, customs, and traditions. Additionally, the lecture aimed to promote the concept of cooperation and social solidarity among parents and children. The initiative is part of the array of relief projects and programs introduced by the Kingdom through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief.
