Amman: Jordan’s Civil Defense Directorate (CDD) at the Public Security Directorate (PSD) managed 1,477 incidents across the Kingdom over the past 24 hours.
According to Jordan News Agency, the CDD reported that among these incidents, 1,330 were emergency medical cases. Initial medical services were administered, and the cases were transported to various hospitals throughout Jordan. The average response time for these emergencies was recorded at 7 minutes and 37 seconds.
Additionally, civil defense teams executed 92 rescue operations. These operations involved rescuing individuals from high and enclosed terrains and managing traffic accidents. The average response time for rescue operations was slightly quicker, at 7 minutes and 35 seconds.
In terms of firefighting, the teams successfully extinguished 55 fires, maintaining an average response time of 7 minutes and 34 seconds.
