Jordan Rejects Displacement and Seeks Unity Amid Regional Challenges

Amman: Jordan’s official stance remains firmly against displacement and the establishment of a Palestinian state, as stated by Momani. He emphasized that this position is of supreme national interest. Important diplomatic engagements are on the horizon, with Saudi Arabia set to host a meeting, followed by an Arab summit in Cairo on the 27th of this month, aiming to synchronize efforts in support of the Palestinian cause and bolster regional stability.

According to Jordan News Agency, Momani highlighted the robustness of Jordan’s economy, asserting its resilience and capacity to navigate global challenges. He acknowledged the international community’s assistance, which helps Jordan manage the significant responsibility of hosting refugees.

Momani addressed attempts to incite division within the country, stressing that such actions contradict Jordan’s national values and the direction set by the Hashemite leadership. He underscored the importance of preserving national unity, particularly in the digital realm, and reiterated the commitment to societal cohesion and civil peace.

Jordan continues its path toward economic, political, and administrative modernization, with initiatives aimed at fostering growth and improving citizens’ living standards. Administrative reforms are progressing, with efforts to enhance government efficiency and effectiveness.

The government is currently engaging in public discussions to update the Local Administration Law and enhance political participation in decision-making processes. Momani also emphasized the government’s dedication to maintaining a constructive relationship with the Lower House, guided by the Constitution, to foster cooperation and legislative progress.

In the media sector, the government is advancing a digital transformation plan to support media institutions, improve technology, and enhance the quality of digital content production, reflecting its commitment to the development of the media landscape.
